AWAYDAY TRAINING 2024

TRAINING DAY ‘SHARPEN UP FOR WORKING TEST’ WITH COLIN PELHAM
 
Saturday 4th August
 
Novice 10.30 am - 12.30pm & Open 1.30pm – 3.30pm
 
 
We are delighted to be able to offer a training day with Colin Pelham for 16 members. Colin is an A panel Judge and is a very well-respected trainer and field trailer so this a great opportunity. Colin runs regular training sessions at his Norlands Kennels where he has a variety of ground including game cover to use for walked up training, grass fields with mown strips for straight line training and crossroads for directional training plus a variety of jumps. Norlands Gundogs is based at Egham which is easily accessed from main road and has plenty of parking.

AWAY TRAINING DAY @ SOUTHWEST GUNDOG TRAINING CENTRE
 WEST STEART FARM, STOODLEIGH, TIVERTON, EX16 9QA
 SATURDAY 25TH MAY 2024  
 
 We are delighted to be able to offer our members the chance to visit the bespoke Southwest Gundog training centre with Karen Handley. The grounds offer over 60 acres of grasslands and woodlands so they can offer a huge variety off training scenarios including water, this will enable us to tailor this day to you and your dogs needs.
 
The format will be 8 handlers for the day, you will be able to swap dogs if appropriate.

WATER TRAINING DAY WITH JENNIFER THOMAS
 
Sunday 18th AUGUST at West Wycombe Estate, Buckinghamshire
 
Novice 10.00 am - 12.30pm & Open 1.30pm – 4.00pm
  
We are delighted to be able to offer a water training day with Jennifer Thomas at the beautiful West Wycombe Estate which offers fabulous opportunity for water training for all levels of training and in August the water will be warm for your younger dogs.
